am i in labor
I have been having contractions every 9-10 min apart for the past 2 and a half hours. I lost my plug about 20 min ago.
The first stage of labour can last up to 12 hours. This is before you reach four cms dilated. Most hospitals won't admit you until you reach 4cms. If you're worried call your hospital and ask to speak to a midwife. My friend gets no pain with labour and when she got around to going in she was 6cm.
You should wait for them to Get closer together and get pretty intense...our they will just send you home :/ my doc said to go in when they are 5 mins apart for an hour, i went in today & just got sent home. :( they said to come back when i can't walk out talk through them.
Its false labor, when they are 3min apart and painful then you go in!
