I used to get sore boobs when i ovulated but i wouldnt know about my cervix as i never checked it!!!!! May be you could try and ovulation kit to help you pin point your fertile days.

Your cervix should close and harden rather abruptly after ovulation. If nothing else you should be seeing a progression towards closed and hard/firm if you have already ovulated. For me it takes about a week to open and closes within 2 days 3 tops. By the sounds of it you will be ovulating soon or have just done so. And yes it is normal to have breast tenderness at ovulation although it's not something everyone gets.
