i dont want to be pregnant.. but..

i had sex with no protection 4 days before i started ovulating. alot of people are saying you cannot ovulate when you're pregnant and i really hope thats true! but i have just been feeling really weird lately, i get nauseated and random times and i feel like im gettin bigger in the hips. i am not positive i am because its not quite time for my period, but im just wondering.. is it possible that i am? even though i ovulated..?

I'm 34 and had a missed M/C in Dec.....no other children and am having troubles TTC again.....This girl made a mistake, as we all have in our pasts.....She sounded as though if she WERE pregnant that she would keep the baby and do right by it......I've been with DH for 6 years and thought we got pregnant at one point before we were married, and although it wouldn't have been planned, we made a mistake....no need to be harsh.....She would have done the right thing if she had ended up pregnant.....I would do anything to get pregnant now, and the world is full of people who have no problems getting pregnant, even when unplanned...that's the way it goes.....As long as the right decision is made in the end, we should try to support them.

it isnt a mistake when you dont use protection there is women in this world who would love to have kids but cant there are women on this forem who i feel very sorry for because they are having problems conceveing, and then there is others that cant be bothered using protection and then getting pregnant when they dont want them!!!!!!

I'm glad that everything worked out well for you......I'm sure if you started your period it's OK to assume that you're not pregnant.....Best of Luck in the future!

I hope I didn't come off as judgmental because that is not what I feel whatsoever!!! I've seen girls as young as 12 have babies, and while that is not ideal, things like this do happen!

I know that if you pregnant, you'll do just fine, based on everything you just told me. And obviously you don't want kids right now, but the fact you'll step up and take responsibility is commendable!

Please let me know if you need/want to talk or have more questions, hon! Your UTI could definitely be causing symptoms.

this is much different, im 16 years old. and if i was pregnant i wouldnt know what to do. you're probably thinking im a kid, and yes i am. which is exactly why i dont want to be pregnant, sure if i am, then thats whats meant to be and theres nothing i can/would do about it except try my best to do the best for my child.. but i definately don't WANT kids right now, so i made a mistake and hopefully i won't have my first child by a mistake at 16 years old.. there's nothing wrong with that.. but thats not what i want for me.. but i did go to the doctor today, i didnt ask if i was pregnant or anything but i have a urinary tract infection which could explain some of my symptoms. idk.

So what happens if you're pregnant, scared? How old are you, too? Not that age matters, but you seem pretty adamant about not being pregnant. I got preggo when I was 19 and my daughter is the most precious, wonderful human being on the face of the earth. She's 2 1/2 and I adore her. She is the sweetest, most empathetic, cuddly little person. I know that if you end up pregnant, it will all work out. Everyone here has a story of survival and overcoming obstacles. If you're pregnant, you CAN do it!

well if your period is due on the 20th and you had sex 10 day's ago it's likely that you were near ovulation and had sex within your 7 day fertile period.  You can usually get an accurate Home pregnancy test 14 days after sex.  Which would be Friday the 15th.  But if you don't get a positive result you will need to test again on the 20th if your period does not come.  It can sometimes even take one week after your missed period to get a positive.  I hope your period shows and next time be sure to use something.  Good Luck!

cm is not a determining factor for pregnancy...it is different with every woman...some do and some don't.  If you had sex 10 days ago you should wait another 3 or 4 days and test.  When is your period due?

hm, okay. well do u still have the "cm" i guess its called.. the clear stuff if youre pregnant? i had sex 10 days ago. and thank you for the best wishes, i usually always use protection but this was a spur of the moment mistake and hopefully nothing more.

you only ovulate for a 24 hour period.  I don't know when you started having symptoms but if you think you are ovulation right now you could take a ovulation test to see....however it may not show.  How many days ago did you have sex?

How do you know that you are still ovulating?  Sperm can live in the right environment for up to 7 days ( in the vaginal canal), so if you had unprotected sex in the time frame of 7 days prior to ovulation, during ovulation, and/or one day after ovulation, then there's a chance that you could be pregnant...If you're not this month, I suggest always using protection if you don't want to become pregnant......Best wishes.

anytime you have unprotected sex you can end up pregnant. especially around ovulation. you'll just have to wait to take a pregnancy test.

when did you ovulate before?  Or do you mean you had sex 4 days ago and are now ovulating?

I think you are a little confused...  You get pregnant when you ovulate.   You get pregnant by having sex the 5 days leading up to ovulation....the day of ovulation and even the day after.  So if you had sex around ovulation yes you could be.
