is it safe to eat pineapple?

I know some people on here have talked about eating pineapple to induce labor..does that mean I shouldn't eat it early in pregnancy? I'm 9w1d

Oh don't worry, I'm on it. I've been having a hard time keeping anything down..hubby went and got me a fruit tray so I've been slowly munching on that ;)

It's completely fine to eat, pineapple did put me into labor at the end, but you have to eat A LOT of it, and it will only help if your body is ready to go into labor, some women it doesn't work for even when their body is ready for labor.

My doc said you have to eat a ton of pineapple in one sitting in order for it to possibly do anything.  You are okay to eat it early just make sure you aren't eating several whole pineapples in one sitting.....

You can eat it. lol It takes lots of pineapple to induce labor later on. Im 12 weeks and I love pineapple. I eat it along with my other various fruits. However I dont gorge on it.
