i feel like a weirdo....

Because I cant drink milk or anything but can eat ice cream. I've been craving ice cream a lot and its because I'm not getting enough calcium and that's what my baby girl needs right now. I wish I could be "normal" and eat  yogurt or drink milk but the taste has always made me sick. I like cereal but can't have milk with it. I don't eat a lot cheese either. Tonight I had a large chocolate frosty (ice cream) and Hawaiian sweet rolls and man is she moving so much right now. I'm 33 weeks and 3 days idk how else to get more calcium in my diet besides ice cream and lots of it and I'm a ftm too. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Almond milk. And tums. You're going to take them for heartburn anyway

Have you tried soy milk? It's lactose free. I also can't do dairy so my Dr recommended soy milk and I've been able to hold it down.

You should be taking a calcium supplement pill if not already. I would consult your doctor about your calcium intake And go from there

You could try frozen yogurt. That might satisfy your ice cream craving without all the calories and sugar of ice cream. I've had trouble with dairy this pregnancy too. There are lots of vegetables that have calcium as well. You could also try calcium fortified cereals or juices.

I know...it's weird. I can put milk in meals and all that but the cup of milk makes me sick and always has. I've had Bordens chocolate milk but that sometimes makes me sick too. I've tried like everything and nothing seems to do the trick. I don't have money to get supplements just yet. Have to wait till next pay check. Its all so expensive.
