I'm I the only one

Who does not wash new clothes? I just can't see myself popping tags on a pile of new baby clothes then sticking them in the washer... Not saying its wrong to do that because my moon swears by it, I just really don't even think about doing that. For my first born, my mom washed everything, new or used. And she would get upset if I ran in the store and bought the baby an outfit and just put it on him. For some reason I just can't make chores out of new clothes. Lol.
***Please don't jump down my throat. I'm aware of allergies and whatnot. I'm just being honest.

Lol, I was just the same. I don't wash the clothes I purchase for myself -except used- so I didn't really see a point in doing it anyways. BUT with all the nagging from my mom during my first pregnancy I gave in. Only if they're babies I will once they're grown I stopped. :)

I washed all.clothes and blankets and stuff for my son and plan to do the same for my daughter. Actually getting ready to do so soon. I quit doing it after a couple years when he wasnt so young and developed a better immune system. But as a baby they are so fragile lol. It is alot of work but hey at least they are tiny and you could probably get away with it just being 1-2 loads :)

I didn't wash EVERYTHING I got for my son... and I'm glad. People gave us too many clothes and I ended up keeping tags on the things I didn't immediately fall in love with or weren't in the right season and returning some things for store credit or re-gifting them to other expecting mamas. But things I put on him? Yeah, I washed them first.

If my mom sees it, she will wash it. My mind doesn't tell me to wash new clothes so I never have.

Right. And I'm 23 yrs old. My mom tells me all the time, don't you put anything on my grandchild without washing it... But I just can not see myself pulling tags and then washing the clothes. I'm sure after my baby shower she will take the clothes and wash them.

I do that, but I haven't had my baby yet and haven't decided what to do with the babies clothes.

I've never done it. I don't do it with my clothes and I've never done it with my sons clothes. He's 5 and has never had a problem.
