if you are under 30 you ONLY not getting your own property and you're still entitled to other benefits so there's a support from the government if you are on low income. You can't say that there's not support at all. Did your council actually told you that you have to live at home with your parents because you're 26? Or you just choosing not to take a shared accommodation offered by the council? Or you just not happy how council classed you as? Asking for help when it's needed it's a good thing, that's why UK has a benefit system for situations like that. I'm sorry but the council won't put you on the top of their list just because you're expecting. Don't say that it's unfair you got classed as being in shared accommodation. Your council want to help you but you're expecting a lot more that you can get and you're complaining about it. But if you lost your job because you felt pregnant is something you should be complaining about to you're last employer.

In order to understand their struggles you have to walk in their shoes. Every glass house is different

Im sorry but it is unfair in certain circumstances I lost my job after falling pregnant and get no support because I'm under 30 and should according to my council still live at home being 26 and married so im now living off my husbands 800 pound a month wages. Some people do need to ask for help being in situations like this or  Katie who needs out her house. Yes there.are many people who do scrounge off the government but some who genuinely do need help

It's not unfair. Why people should get a house for free only because they are having a baby. Being a parent also means providing for a baby with the roof under's baby head.
