light pinkish discharge and im only 3 weeks and a day pregnant.i went to planned parenthood and they told me  i was tested positive pregnancy now im worried because i have been very active outside and i have vaginal bactieria and i have to take metronidazole for seven days 14 pills two everyday.im very worried have an app tomorrow but need answers now.!

When i was 12weeks i had a vaginal bacterial infection and was prescribed the same thing twice a day for 7 days but i was almost out of my 1st trimester and they said it was safe for me. But definitely ask your doc

Spotting can be very concerning in early pregnancy, but don't stress because it will only make things worse! A bacterial infection will definitely cause spotting. I had some serious spotting from an infection, is your medicine OTC? If so ask your OB for some prescribed medication that will clear it up quickly. Also, I wouldn't be doing a ton of anything until you figure out why the bleeding is happening, no lifting, and take it as easy as you can, and drink lots of water! I wouldn't worry about it unless you have to, the infection could very well be causing the spotting! Good luck hun and I hope you have a healthy 9 months!!
