im 35 weeks, but my daughter is just now 3 pounds

The doctors today informed me that my daughter is below the 10percentile. Of course I'm worried but I'm trying to remain calm. They told me to try and get her moving down into my pelvis for birth, and to try and get as much nutrion in her before she doesn't flip. If she doesn't flip before the 20th they're going to manually flip her. does anyone have any experience with this? They also said if she doesn't plump up in the next few weeks they're going to induce me. :( I'm only 20, and I have no idea what to be doing right now besides eating and resting. Any questions or suggestions?

It is thought that babies gain a half a pound a week in the last few weeks. That should make your baby about on schedule. Lots of women have four to five pound babies that are considered healthy. Sounds like your Dr is expecting a little much. I say eat lots of sugar stuff, starchy food, milk and juice. I hope that everything goes well.
