im scared and confused

i had an period sept 25 after i miscarried aug 25 , my " period " which was light spotting came oct 21-23 but i was suppose to start that 23rd of oct . and now im 4 days late this month i was suppose to start on the 16th . found out i have an ovarian cyst can those stop your menstrual or can i possibly be pregnant ? when should i take a hpt ?

I have pcos (policystic ovarian syndrome) which is exactly what it sounds like. Many recurring and different cysts on your ovaries. Yes it is very possible for them to stop your period I always had that problem.  Don't be scared though.  Of course you could be pregnant but if you have a cyst it could be normal to miss your period. Cysts are fairly normal and most women will have one at some point or another.  If you test negative and your period still doesn't come I'd consult with your dr to check on it! Best of luck hun :)
