my appointment is next tuesday. i have never felt any cramping nor have a spotting, i dont wanna scare myself too much i think i may just be paranoid..
No, you do not bleed no matter what. However, symptoms DO NOT determine or mean the pregnancy is viable. You could be sick as a dog, it doesn't mean you will go full term. Symptoms are caused from the hCG hormone, which is present regardless of viability. I've had two pregnancies - one I gave birth to my daughter, the other I miscarried. In my miscarriage I had severe nausea/vomiting and fatigue. Apparently the myth is that the sicker you are, the more healthy the pregnancy is. I miscarried a few days after I got my positive.
With a miscarriage there are different ones that can happen. You can naturally miscarry the child and have typical bleeding/cramping. In a missed miscarriage there are no typical signs or symptoms - your body doesn't recognize that the child has passed and therefor doesn't do anything to pass the tissue. If you're concerned, go to the ER or ask your doctor if you can get seen sooner.
Sometimes you can have what's called a missed miscarriage that's where the baby dies but your body doesn't realize that its dead and doesn't take action to expelled it therefore there would be no bleeding and a D&C would need to be performed. But as long as you never had symptoms you should be ok its when you have symptoms and suddenly lose them that you need to worry. If you are truely that concerned go to the ER and complain of cramping they will check your HCG levels and check for a heartbeat to ease your mind.
ive only had one drs appointment, i found out i was pregnant at 7 weeks, my next apt is next week. maybe im paranoid. i got to a point a couple weeks ago where i was so stressed i scared myself. when you have a miscarrage you bleed no mater what right?
As long as your monthly checkups are Good and the baby is healthy I wouldn't worry. Some women don't show until later on in pregnancy. My sister was 5months before she felt movement and 6months before she showed with her first baby. You'll get there, especially when the baby starts to kick.
