I like Benjamin Riley too!
Benjamin Rylie is my favourite!
I love the name Riley. I think it is a great name for a boy.
Here are some of the names I like that go with Riley
Braden Riley
Riley Victor
Domenic Riley
Good luck. Any name you come up with will be perfect for your son. Congratulations!! My "bouncing baby boy" will be 14 on Friday....sigh....!!! Time flies!
Yup it's hard to pick.
My final three list.
Nicholas Rylie
Jason Rylie
Benjamin Rylie
I already have a huge headache picking the name for our first born. It is exciting but I have to narrow it down to 3.. LOL hoping after the delivery one of these names will pop out of either me or DH mouth when asked by the doctor. haha Thanks for being honest and nice ladies.! love you all!
LMAO Avanaar you crack me up!
Are you secretly studying comic books whiles prego? LOL
Anyways, and I didn't mean that in a bad way just a lot of info there! I didn't even know that! AHAHA
tea_berries- I think any name you pick will be super cute, whether Riley is the first or middle name, something will click for you and you'll totally be in love with it! Can't wait to hear what you decide!
holly C*** you know alot! LOL.. nerd in a good way. I wish I know details and stuff like that. I actually admire people who know stuff that most common people do not know of.
Actually, Spider-man's name is Peter Parker ...but in the comics, during the Clone Saga, a clone was created of Spidey ...and he named himself Ben Reilly. It's apparently a combination of his Aunt May's and Uncle Ben's names ...Reilly seems to be May's maiden name. =D
He went around as Scarlet Spider for a while ...but he did become the *actual* Spider-man when Peter wanted to retire to help MJ, who was super-preggo with their first child. I remember there being a big conflict with the characters in the comic over who was the actual clone too ... Uhm ...yeah, anyway!!
Again, I know I'm a nerd ...lol ...but if you want to read more about Ben Reilly, here's the Wikipedia link: http://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Ben_Reilly ((Don't forget to take out the spaces!))
Oooo ...I really liked Laura's idea of Riley Patrick ...that sounds so nice. =D
Here's a few more to ponder:
Riley James
Riley Evan
Riley David (or vice versa)
Christopher Riley
It seems like the longer first names go well with the shorter middle name of Riley ...in my opinion anyway. lol
I think Rylie Thomas sounds really good. lol....
Or any name, that is soley for boys could go as the middle and make it sound perfectly masculine!
Hmmm Benjamin Rylie and Jason Rylie does sound nice. It makes it more musculine. Yes I am worried of the spelling that kids at school might tease him or something. I know I am such a worry freak.
I like the idea of Ben Reilly spiderman.. wow now that is something. I didn't even realize that it's spidermans name. :0) thanks
I like Riley for a girl OR a boy..
I think you just have to pick something you like to go with it that is strong..
Riley Broderick
Riley Patrick
Riley Joseph
I think whatever you pick should be AT LEAST 2 syllables.. I am weird about names.. =)
When I think of Reilly, I think of Ben Reilly (Spider-man reference ...yes, I'm a nerd lol =D). Benjamin Reilly (or your spelling of Rylie) sounds nice to me. =D But you may have people like me who know the reference commenting on his webslinging abilities. =D
I liked your idea of Jaden Rylie, but understand that your friend named her boy that.
In my opinion, your spelling seems like it would fit the feminine version of Reilly more than the masculine. But that's just me. If you want to keep that spelling, I suggest finding something undeniably masculine as the first name ...like Benjamin, or Thomas, or Jason.
There are plenty of names that would go wonderfully with Rylie. Also, if you're picky like me, your last name will have a lot to play in the full name (I don't like double sounds ...i.e. if your last name was Roberts ...Rylie Roberts ...too many R sounds). There are exceptions tho that just sound 'right'.
So remember, if *you* and your hubby like the name you've picked, it doesn't matter what others think!!
Yeah I know of a couple of Riley's I actually went to highschool with
I know a boy whose name is Riley, just spelt diff. Sounds perfect as a boys name, I actually think it's a name for either sex!
