Thanks, err its a really bad agonising sharp pain iv had it for ages now, been in and out of hospital for 2weeks and still going, i have tryed everything from heat to cold, pillows, different positions ect.
Thanks again :)
Well it sort of depends on the pain. If you have a lot of extreme pain around one ovary, or feel like you have really, really bad PMS cramps, that could be a concern and I'm sure your doctor will tell you if you have anything to worry about. As long as you aren't bleeding, everything's probably fine. Even if you do bleed a little, sometimes it has nothing to do with the baby.
But it's normal to have sharp little pains around your sides and lower back and some cramps. If you have a lot of cramping that feels sort of like you're being STRETCHED around your sides, abs or lower back, that's normal too -- it'll kind of feel like you spent all day in the gym doing crunches. That's from your muscles moving around to make space for a baby, and it's a good sign.
Heat helps -- try a heating pad or hot water bottle, or see if you can find a personal massager or someone to give you a quick massage. If it's extremely sore, you can take Tylenol. :-)
