A UTI itself won't hurt the baby, however if that's what you have it cannot wait until the 19th to be treated. A UTI can quickly progress to a bladder and/or kidney infection which is much harder to treat and can cause further issues for you and baby. If you suspect a UTi you should be seen quite soon.
Yes and I hate both. Thank you :)
It's best to get your urine checked, just because a UTI can cause a lot of problems. Just continue to drinks lots of water.
It won't hurt to use the monistat just in case its a yeast infection. And i would drink lots of water and 100% cranberry juice in case its a uti until you can get to the doctor. Hope this helps. I kno how painful and frustrating utis can be
Okay hopefully I can stop in and give them a sample this week because I don't have an appointment until 11/19
Okay and I have another question.. Before finding out I was pregnant I was getting frequent UTI's from not drinking enough water. . then I would burn when peeing. Will that still happen now that I'm pregnant if its a UTI?
With yeast you are more likely to have itching and burning in and around vagina. With uti it usually burns when you per and feels like not all the urine is coming out. Hope this helps. But monistat is fine to use for yeast infection. But i would still ask to get urine sampled just in case
