My Dr told me I have a uti and ever since I had back pain and abdominal pain can't sleep up all night and constantly going to the bathroom can the uti harm the baby in any way

I think having an infection of any kind could cause preterm labor if it goes untreated. Not 100% sure on that tho.

Uti are considered risk to the baby ! But if doctor is treating you then you should be fine

Yea but the pharmacy won't give it to me until they talk to my dr BC it runs in the same family as penicillin and I'm allergic to penicillin

I think.I have one! :-( ill find out Monday for sure at my appt. I don't really think it can hurt baby though unless maybe gone untreated etc.

A uti could send you into to labor..did your doc give you anything for it?

I dont think it will hurt the baby.but dtink some cranberry juice and it can help.

I don't think so. I had a yeast infection and uti and the doctor never mention that it could hurt the baby. Except the yeast infection if u have it when u give birt
