thanks for the advice everyone! i thiink ima try bendryl. cuz wen i took between the times i was waitin for a perscription for my other allergy medicine i always had a full nites sleep. its makin me sick! i dont  get sleep, and then i barely eat and im so lethargic and nauseated.and im so heavy! im now 19 weeks and i dont understand why im so heavy! i mean ive seen other gurls at 19 weeks and they are just startin to show. everywhere i go ppl think im at the end of my 5th month or somethin. do u think there could b another baby in there that we havent found yet? the first pregnancy wen i was 3 months they said they picked a 2nd heartbeat, and saw that one child was hidin behind the other, that was b4 i miscarried. do u think that could be why im so big? cuz its certainly not just weight

I dont know about the turkey sandwich idea unless its fresh turkey that was cooked because my doctor said not to eat cold cuts at all, pregnant women can get very sick from them. If you google it, I think its something called listeria...

I tried to find the article that I had read about sleeping during pregnancy.  (it came in one of my weekly updates on being pregnant)  But it said that sleepless nights and waking up frequently during the night is your bodies way of preparing you for the sleep patterns of a newborn.  It ***** trust me I know.  I am having the same problems.  I cherish my sleep.  And at first it mad me so mad (it still has its moments), but after I read that it made me feel better.  I guess it is better to deal with the frustration of it now, then when you have your bundle of joy with you.  But if it is more than you can handle, my doc told me that it is ok to take benadryl at night while you are pregnant.  You might want to clear with your doc first.  but it is another option.  Good luck to you, and remember it will all be worth it soon enough.

I'm having the exact same problem....only I forse myself to get up around 9:30am so I feel like I'm getting NO sleep (which I guess I'm not)..It's terrible and makes me feel like I'm going crazy some days!  Anyway, try taking Unisom.  Totally safe in pregnancy.....For a while it worked for me but now even that doesn't work anymore.....Give it a try and if you're not comfortable taking it, just double check with your Dr. first...but I've asked and my OB says it's totally OK!

I forgot to mention as well, that the further along I got in my pregnancy...the harder it was to sleep at night...that is pretty common...but I would get at least get a couple of hours here and there, never pulled an all-nighter!

Girly thats all apart of being pregnant! Lol.. at least for me it was.. I could HARDLY sleep all through my pregnancy. But yea just like Chantal said try avoiding sweets and caffenine a few hours before bedtime and I would eat a turkey sandwich an hour before bed.. turkey has something in it that makes you tired. Hopefully this helps!

Seems like your body is a little thrown off....have you talked to your doc about it? Maybe they can give you something to help. Try drinking some tea before you go to bed at night or take a nice warm bath. Also...since you say you fall asleep around 5-6am...try not sleeping for that long or at all...make yourself stay awake and I bet you will be so tired at night! But I would def. mention it to your doc. and also about the eating. I hope you are able to get some sleep at night soon!
