insurance in PA

I got laid off at my job and have no insurance what can I do to get some help in PA.

You can get put on food stamps and cash and medical just google food stamps in pa the info will pop up

Thanks everyone...just got the bad news today I have to file for unemployment also, so its been tough.

You can go to your local hospital or the hospital your going to deliver financial department to sign up for medical insurance. Thanks to Obamacare

Go to your local department of human services.. They will help you figure it out and tell you what forms to fill out.. I'm fairly positive every state has some form of state funded health care, for instance I live in Oregon so we have the 'oregon health plan' being jobless and pregnant will most likely garuntee you'll be covered..

Im not sure because i live in MA but they have to have a form of Medicaid you can apply for. You won't be denied because you are pregnant. I was in the same boat when i found out i was expecting and got approved for Medicaid automatically. Good luck.
