is it normal

to get an 87 for your sugar level testing after dinner? i have gestacional diabetes

I'm sorry I was just trying to help since I have it .. and telling u what numbers my endocrinologist told me to go by.. I never said 87 wasn't a good number I said it's good..  but when ur preg and u test to early u may not get proper reading .. but if u go to a dietician  they should have gave a a paper saying what range they think ur blood sugar should be in so u don't have to get help from "random" ppl

I was told 2 hours after eating by my endocrinologist. That's the most accurate reading. When you are pregnant it takes a little longer for you to digest food, so that's why they want you to wait at least 2 hours before testing

Then go bcc what your dietician told you not what random.people say. 87 is normal rage regardless of gestational diabetes. I don't see a problem with it.

Oh I'm not sure then I see a specialist for mine .. before I started seeing him I went by what my OB said and he said after 1 hr it's suppose to be below 145 so still that is a good number

U should be OK if it's been an hr maybe check again in another hr to see if it's still in that range

My Dr told me 2 hrs after is the most reliable level to go by if u right away it won't be the proper reading

How long after ? My levels are suppose to be 120 or lower 2hrs after or 65-95 when I wake up (fasting) I have gestational diabetes also
