gooey stuff

Was going to the bathroom today and noticed this stuff coming out of my vag when I went to wipe. When I got a better look at it, it looked like snot (A clear discharge with some yellow in it). Does anyone know what this is, I'm about to be 27 weeks

I lost mine at 23 wks and was in active labor within minutes. It doesn't always take a while for labor to begin.

Mucus plug. It sounds like you're slowly losing it. Usually when you lose it all at once, its tinged with blood. Did you see blood at all? And you should go get checked to see if you're dilating! Don't put it off. Better to be safe (:

It definitely sounds like your mucus plug. I'm 30 weeks and my doctor told me today that if I started losing my mucus plug that I need to call them because it is to early. It can regrow throughout pregnancy but when it comes out it means your cervix is more open then it should be so they need to check for dialation

It could just be normal discharge too. It gets pretty heavy at some points. :-)

Sounds like your mucus plug. Which can be lost all at once or a little at a time. Don't be too worried, with my first son I lost a little at time over the course of 9 weeks before actually going into labor but there are some women who go into labor shortly after losing it.
