is it safe to take amoxicillin when pregnant?
i am 11 weeks pregnant and i have a fever i went to the doctor and they prescribed me a medicine amoxicillin...is it safe to take amoxicillin?
I had a terrible upper respiratory infection a couple of weeks ago and my OB prescribed amoxicillin. He told me it was perfectly safe to take. Hope you get to feeling better!!
You can always call your OB and ask them if you are not certain. Normally if you tell your MD that you are pregnant they will ensure that they prescribe something that is safe for baby but always check with your OB to be sure.
