is it safe to take this antibiotic when pregnant?

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and keep getting an absess in my armpit, it came back after the first round of
Antibiotics so the prescribed me a stronger one called cliadamycin 300mg. I'm supposed to
Take 3 times a day for a week.. will this harm my baby? I trust doctors but only so much.

I don't think it has to do with the pregnancy, I had them before I was pregnant but if the stuff inside the absess gets in your blood it can be harmful to you and the baby

CLINDAMYCIN
Clindamycin is a second oral antibiotic which may be prescribed during pregnancy. The American Pregnancy Association notes that 300mg of clindamycin is prescribed to be taken for seven days. This treatment has a success rate of 94 percent. Drugs.com reports that clindamycin can cause stomach upset, including nausea and vomiting. It can also cause diarrhea, throat irritation and a rash.
