is preeclampsia bad?

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and its my first baby.. and lately my legs have been getting swollen and sometimes my arms and hands too, my doctor tells me that it's normal but she's still going to take some blood samples to see if i have preeclampsia. Is preeclampsia bad?

Yes preeclampsia is bad.my sister in law passed away because she didn't took care of herself when she was diagnosed with preeclampsia .she  had an emergency c section at 7months but sadly she didn't make it :( ..preeclampsia is a serious condition

Its really tough. I had my first at 35wks via csection due to it and have been battling it this time since 15wks. You should definitely work closely with your dr to investigate whether you have it and manage it as the sooner they catch it the better they can manage it in my experience.

hmm I think you should also do a 24hour sample I get swollen at times so I told my doctor nd got blood work done and also did. a 24 urine sample blood work was fine but I had protein in it soo I get nst every week now im 37weeks did another 24hr urine sample nd was told that if it increases I might be getting induced because itbwould b safer for us protein in urine means kidneys are working to hard.

Yeah it's deff not a good thing, a lot of babies come prematurely because of it. Hope your test comes back negative!!
