EXACT. SAME. THING. HAPPENED. TO. ME.
I was 10 weeks and suddenly, blood. I called my dr and he said if it was a miscarriage there was nothing they could do anyway and to either make an appointment to see him later or go to the ER. Well there was no way I was sleeping, so ER it was. They took my right back. Took my blood. Did an ultrasound. Baby's heartbeat was like 176. There was the small fibroid in the wall of my uterus as well. Baby was alive and they could not tell me where the bleeding was coming from.
I waited back in my room and the nurse came in and said, "So good news then, huh?" and we were like ???? and she was like "Oops, guess the doctor hasn't been back in yet." and left. I'll admit we needed that hope and humor.
The doctor came in and said blood tests and everything were perfect. I was diagnosed with "spotting" and "threatened miscarriage" but he said it didn't look like that was about to happen in my case. I didn't know whether to be comforted or wait for the shoe to drop. :\
Well I had a bit of brown blood the next day and then nothing. I am now 20 weeks and my little Lizzy is doing perfect!
I was not given a reason for the bleeding either and evidently the fibroid nor small cost on my ovary could have caused the bleeding or complications further on. I have no answers but I have my baby.
Since your bleeding has stopped, I would relax. Some women just bleed, apparently. Scariest thing ever, but you and baby sound like you will be fine. :)
I went though the same thing at 10 weeks pregnant. Its just the baby attaching to cervix wall, the midwife told me that. Im 27 weeks right now so you will be but wrong to much
Hi! I Had The Same Exact Thing! I Actually Bleed For About 3 Weeks On And Off Though, But Mine Did Stop And Everything Is Completely Normal Now. It Really Scared Me.. But As Long As The Blood Isn't Dark Red, You'll Be Fine :)
