Dilation

In England when do you get checked if you're dilated? How many weeks? And do you have to go to the doctors or is it just at the midwives appointment?

Some may do it if you ask, but it all depends on your midwife. You should ask them at your next appt and see what they say as I know mine will check after a certain point when asked (35weeks).

They don't do it here. You will only be checked for dilation when you are in labour or if they're attempting a sweep. Our midwives have a very hands off approach.
