Hi ftm mom here and I have mild menstrual like cramps I've had 4 in an hour that vary from 7 to 12 mins. Also I keep getting sharp shooting pain in my lower back and a sharp stabbing pain in my vag! I just turned 34 help someone

I went into preterm labour on Monday at 27wks. I felt a bit off when I woke up Monday morning and had some period like cramps and bh. At lunch time I had some intestinal cramps so I went to the bathroom. The cramps got so bad I felt like I couldn't get off the toilet and then I lost my mucus plug. I went and lay on my bed while my husband called my ob and I started to get mild contractions. I knew they weren't bh but bh for me is just tightening whereas these lasted longer and hurt to breath through. By the time I got to the hospital they were 3mins apart. Anyway, a whole heap of meds later I'm still in hospital trying to get this baby to bake a bit longer. I hope this info helps you. Fingers crossed its just pregnancy cramps but definitely seek help quickly if it gets more intense!
