The FDA changed their guidelines and say theres something else very harmful to babies in tuna along with the mercury and no pregnant woman is advised to eat any amount. That being said, I still go with their previous rule of 1 8oz serving per week.
My Obgyn said it was fine as long as it's cooked. He said it would take 20 yellow fin tuna to have enough mercury to hurt you or the baby.
I crave tuna as well.. Not sure tho
Tuna out of a can is fine to eat :) as long as you don't eat like 3 cans a week cos of mercury levels :)
