jaundice prevention??colic prevention?

Is there anyways to prevent these two things?All of my children have had jaundince,and my second was
colic.I was wondering if anyone knew of ways to prevent?I dont smoke or drink.

You know I ate completely crappy food when I was pregnant. I didn't smoke or drink I took my prenatals almost everyday I ran up 3 flights of stairs at least once a day until the very end. My daughter was born 2 weeks early weighed 6lbs 8ozs and didn't have colic or jaundince. Honestly I think its just something that happens or doesn't happen I'm not sure there is anyway to prevent it.

my son was 8lbs 8oz my girl 7lbs 3 oz she didnt have juandice as nearly as bad as him,but she had to have a certin kind of formula and bottle .Notice how more and more problems are generating these days i wonder if it has to do with the food and lifestyles we live.

I dont think so....Were they on the smaller side in weight? Cuz my son had jaundice as well, and he was small......
