Went to ob today he said im at 3 cm. If I haven't gone into labor by next week (ill be a week overdue) then were going to have to talk about induction. What are some things you ladies have done to start labor?

Lol I don't know we have sex almost every night..ill have to try the others too, thanks guys!

Currys, sex, walking, squats, gym balls, more sex, pineapple and errrr more sex :D

It just helps with the process of getting your cervix ready for labor. A lot if times she. Your body is ready and they do the strip it can jump start your body within a couple days. Not sure why doc wants me to be induced at 40 weeks. I am all belly and I have had a very healthy pregnancy. I think he is just wanting to make sure baby isn't too big since my belly is so big. Ultimately its my choice and I can say no but its way too tempting with thew back pain

Im curious to all the woman getting their membranes stripped before thier due date. Why don't they want you going past?

Bump (: I'm in the same boat! I've had my membranes stripped and I am getting it done again tomorrow morning. If nothing in 3 days after they want to induce me. I'm due in 3 days! They are not wanting me to go over at all... so any answers would be greatly appreciated here too

Bounce on a exercise ball, walk up and down the stairs, have sex and let your partner finish inside of you (sperm is very good to start labor). Eat some pineapple that kick starts it also! take the bumpiest ride to the grocery store to go get the pineapple. point is to never stop moving just keep walking and bouncing and squatting! good luck hope he/she comes soon!
