just an update
When I tried to be seen at hospital yesterday they said phone gp in the morning it isn't an emergency butnit is because in high risk witch I did I nearly didnt get a appointment but I asked for a doctor to call me and he put me in to see a nurse and so I had to do the swab myself she said she can't do it but she's done it before I told her bout I may/think I have an infection and bout my pain and she said that it isn't there responsible its the hospitals I told her well its not like I can go doctors or see my midwife and I even said I'm 20weeks and 5days and she didn't even give me any medication either witch is messed up so I texted the midwife and she called me and she said try and phone then. And I phone them and now their seeing me after me explaining the situation again with my history and stuff I'll keep you updated girls fingers crossed its gonna be good news not bad
They said their somethink in my fibe but she thinks its a bladder Infection but she isn't sure but their gonna send it to the lab and I'll no Wednesday and they said if it gets worse for me to go in but what can it do to the baby or me??
A&e is accident and emergentcy and its just just birth centre but at the other hospital they call it maternity. But my babys heart beat is 157 waiting on doctor see me
I no I went to a&e and told then I'm having pains and stuff and I'm pregnant and i was there for 5-8 hours even with my daughter I came to the hospital and I was bleeding and conctrating at 21+6days and I was waiting 20-30 minutes and i was so desperate to be seen asap because it only took 10 minutes to get to the hospital and then 20-30 minutes to be seen by a doctor and I was already 4cms when the doctor saw me and checked me and they couldnt stop it because I was bleeding
Thats so unprofessional . You need to demand better care. I'm literally an hr away in Ireland and if you present at the maternity er your seen almost immediately. Its never very busy!
