Bowel movement warning TMI

So i just had my baby about 2 weeks ago, my bottom has been hurting alot, i had a bm like a week ago and yeah it hurt when i pushed and made me wanna throw up.. Today i couldnt even sit on the toilet it hurt sooo bad i was seriously on the floor on my hands and knees trying to get it out and i felt so sick and threw up and it finally came out and it was bloody not too bad i dont think, and now after my but really hurts like a burning, so is this normal?

I had horrible constipation after my last. I definitely recommend the stool softeners. They didn't do me any good though. But my friends who have had babies all had good luck with them. I won't even tell you what I had to do to get it out the first time after I had my last baby it was horrible. If you feel dehydrated definitely go in and get checked. Get some fluids. Baby needs you nice and healthy. And congrats on your baby :)

I had similar issues, but not as bad. I'd suggest asking a pharmacist about a stool softener, I got sent home with them...

I also have no appetite,  i feel sick like dehydrated i have been drinking water so i dunno i think im going to go to the er.

unfortunately it can be normal to have constipation. Your bowls are trying to get back to normal. I would suggest talking with your doctor about your diet to try to help loosen the bm and to check to make sure that nothing has really torn. I remember after my second child via csection  I had issues to and ended up having hemorrhoid from the consitpation. so now after 5 years if I get to constipated the roid flare up (sorry if tmi) I have always found that fiber helps out there are some really good bars (Fiber 1) they taste really good. And for the burning you can use preperation H and they have creams and wipe what ever you prefer. But again check with your doctor
