Rasberry Leaf Capsules
Anyone else been taking or taking these?
hi,
i am taking these. i used the tea with my first but wasn't regular with it. the capsules were cheaper this time around so we're trying that this time. i am taking three now at 36 weeks. i hope to take 4 at 37 weeks (2 in the am and 2 at pm's) it seems that my dosage is 2 capsules equals 1 tea bag. since you are suppose to get up to 4 bags of tea a day by 40 weeks i feel that i'm doing a low dosage. my first baby was born relatively quickly (5 hours) so i don't think i need to much toning going on. but feel its worth it so i'm doing it. i don't think i ever got to four cups with my first either and figure something is better than nothing. so i guess you'd be at 8 capsules a day then if you wanted to do four cups for tea a day. one tea bag was 1000 units and one capsule for me is 500. so check your dosages and see what you should do for yourself.
if this is your first you should consider perineum stretches too. totally worth it and i recommend it to all first time moms.
they say take the capsules with food...i find if i take it late in the meal i burp up the flavor. so i don't know why you take it with food, other than to mask the flavor. since you can drink the tea whenever.
