Castor oil can cause serious complications. Not only will it make you have many bowel movements making you miserable.  But it can cause the baby tohave a bowel movement while in the womb. If the baby enhales it, the baby could possibly die

I would suggest exhausting all other options first:) take a bumpy car ride to the grocery store, make sure you drive over some speed bumps or pot holes in the road, park in the furthest parking spot from the door, gallop (like a horse) all of the way into the store (you may get some silly looks lol)  buy a pineapple,  take the bumpy road back home, when you get inside bounce on the edge of your bed while eating the pineapple right down to the core,  then have a fun little dance to some loud music in the living room, and by this time you will be exhausted,  BUT DON'T QUIT YET :)  if you aren't having contractions take a nice long walk, and then have sex with your man:) and if none of this works,  you can assume you have a stubborn baby who will come when they are ready!  Good luck dear!

Ps... you prolly don't really need to do all of this lol.  It Was just my fun way of giving you natural ways to induce:)

I talked to my sisters mom about it and he dr said it works I personally wouldn't do it because it can cause you to become dehydrated from using the restroom. The only person I talked to about it said she did it and went into labor after a week. I wouldn't recommend castor oil at all there are other things that will help like walking, sex, tea, bouncing on a birth ball, etc.

My doctor told me horror stories about women who do it. Most of the time it doesn't work, but when it does you're left pooping the whole time you're in labor and all over you're baby.
