kidney infection
I have a UTI & my Dr prescribed antibiotics for it. I first noticed the infection when I got a backache, I have had kidney infection before so I knew it felt like that. I am starting my 5th day of antibiotics and had a.bad sleep last night. I woke up with my back really aching this morning (hurts to stand up for 5 mins). I am wondering if I should be worried that the antibiotics aren't working it if it's probably just the bad sleep.also, I am 28 weeks.
I have been really good with drinking water, problem is when I leave the house I get behind. I do have a Dr appt today (Monday) so at least I can get checked out, but the soreness never got worse so your probably right :-) thx.
I am prone to kidney infections too. Most likely the antibiotics are breaking up the infection that was in the kidney....the pain you feel it the kidney healing it self abf exiting the infection! If you still have the pain after you have finished your Meds contact your doctor! Also push lots and lots of water!
