kidney pain
I just found out im pregnant 2 weeks ago & they said i have a UTI. now i know youu cant take any medication while in your first trimester but im having kidney pain on my right side. Should i go back to the hospital?
I was in my first trimester and there are meds you can take while in your first. If you ask your doc im sure they will give you a list. Mine gave me one in a packet, but the hospital gave me a special med to take that relieved the pain in about 20min and theres been no repurcussions.
I've heard the samething. I've also heard that there are alternatives for pain killers that are more natural. If you have a midwife they're great with helping in situations like this.
Yes go! I DIDNT know what a kidney infection felt like and thought it was just horrible back pain from being pregnant and sleeping on a pull out sofa. Turns out if you dont catch a kidney infection soon enough you can get blood poisoning and it can abort your baby. Since youre so early, I would deem it ER worthy, just because the first trimester is already considered the risk zone.
