Nerve damage

Has anyone else had severe nerve damage pain during pregnancy? Right above the start of the baby bump? Mine is so bad it hurts to walk, cough, sneeze, and even lay down on my side.  The pain is right in my skin and is excruciating when I move.

I know it's not inside. The pain is basically on the surface of my skin.

Sounds like diaphragm pain if its above the bump which is common, especially later in pregnancy when baby pushes up more  on the diaphragm. It is very painful

Nerve pain obviously.  Clearly NOT sciatica as I've had that before and it lasted a year and ended in a spinal shot.  Also she describes it as under her rib, at the beginning of her bump, so again she is not talking about sciatica.  Its stretching, and its painful.  This is my 4TH child, I am NOT new to this!

Nerve damage, or nerve pain? Two totally different things...
Sciatic nerve pain is very common in pregnancy, but is generally self-limiting. I certainly suffer from sciatica during pregnancy.
Nerve damage is permanent and becomes chronic.
But it sounds to me like you are describing ligament pain, resulting from the stretching of abdominal ligaments.
