personal question

Hi I had my beautiful baby girl 4 and half weeks ago I had a quick birth I was only in labour 4hours and she was out within 3 pushes I only got a graze which I was very pleased about obviously sore after birth for a About a week and I felt comfortable having sex 2weeks after having her. It didn't hurt when we was having sex but I bled afterwards so decided to leave it abit longer until we tried again so we tried again 2weeks later and me and my boyfriend was abit rough and it felt like I tore an I was in pain after we had finished. That was 4days ago and im still sore. I didn't experience this pain after having my daughter so im unsure of why im feelin this pain now after having sex. I dont like taking pain killers for it and I have a doctors appointment next week so ill ask my doctor about it but I thought id ask on here if any of you ladies have had a similar experience to me.  I know they say wait 6 weeks to have sex but I felt comfortable to do it so soon. I hope I haven't caused any damage to my self by having sex so soon. Im worried to have sex again in case it happens again any advice ladies

As far as I'm aware the 6 wk thing is now a pretty outdated thing, its usually until you have finished bleeding and feeling like your back to normal, I wouldnt put yourself through the wringer because you've had sex earlier than 6 wks, your lucky :) most women  wouldnt want a bar of it :) so I would say that you may have bruised your cervix, especially if its still tender now, I  wouldnt have anymore sex until its either not painful anymore or you see your doctor, and maybe keep the penetration abit shallower for abit :)

The reason they say 6 weeks isn't because of your vagina it's because your body needs time to close your cervix after it had been opened to pass the baby through. You risk infection in your uterus if ou don't wait. If you develop a fever o now but if its just your vagina that hurts then just wait for it to heal. You risk re opening your tare too which if it was small might mean just cosmetically you might have a permanent scar.
