Raspberry leaf?? Help
hi all, I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and i have recently read a lot about raspberry leaf tea/tablets helping to aid in a better labour/birth/recovery. I'm a first time mum so i haven't got any experience, but i brought a bottle of the raspberry leaf tablets. They are 'blooms 2000mg raspberry leaf'
In my reading I've also come across women saying it induced labour/brought on early labour. Im just wondering what sort of dosage i should take, or how many capsules a day so that i can get the benefits that it has for birth but not send myself into premature labour? Also if anyone has any stories of their labours after taking. The raspberry leaf That would be awesome :) thanks for the help! Xx

I was always told that the tablets are not safe during pregnancy and you should buy the actual tea it's self in bulk or pre tea packaged. I bought some at world of nutrition and it was like 3 dollars for a whole quart sized Ziploc bag full and I was able to make mine strong.
They say to start with one cup and up it to 4 a day so ull know how ur body does with it and it says to start it around 37 weeks so that if it does help things a lot fast ur know baby well be ok this is what I have bin told I would ask ur doc about when they think a good time to start
I drank about 3 to 4 cup at day for about two to 3 weeks can't really remember what week I started drinking it
I drank the tea with my first daughter I was 16 year old I when in to labour 3 days before her due date. It's was only a 3 1/2 hours labour and was so easy and didn't really hurt. I didn't drink it with my 2nd daughter and her labour was a painful 11 hours. NOT sure if it was the tea that made it faster and easier but will definitely drink it with this one my number 5.
Also didn't drink it with my son he was 7 hours so this one will be like test to see if it is the tea lol.
