I am a FTM but I worked at a daycare in college. There was obviously a variety of diapers because there were so many babies. I found I prefer pampers over anything else. :)
I'm a mommy of 2 with #3 on the way, and I'll only use pampers. They're more expensive but they're so much softer. Good at absorbing. I absolutely hate luvs.
I only use huggies with my little boy. He always peed through pampers.
I like honest company and huggies little snugglers while the baby is small. Size 3 and up I prefer pampers baby dry :)
Im a ftm but I hear the hospital starts u out with pampers bc fewer newborns react to them, and then as the baby grows around 6/8 months switching to huggies because those diapers move better with baby.
Im starting off using the legit old school folding cloth diapers except for when we go out in public (which is maybe once a week). Ill use pampers over night though.
I bought huggies, and the walmart brand to try out. Huggies worked well with my step son, so I hope they will work for my daughter as well.
Ultimately, it depends on baby though. What works for one, may not work for another.
If both those fail, i want to try pampers swaddlers.
I used Huggies supreme with all 3 of my kids and I will probably use them with this one too.
I liked pampers swaddlers while my son was a newborn. They fit well, were the softest I found, never caused a rash, and they have the indicator that lets you know when they've gone to help you learn. Once he started moving around I switched to pampers cruisers. I've also liked target brand. I will not use luvs. They felt very cheap and my son didn't like them.
Im a ftm and im planning on using papers swaddled.
Huggies for all three of mine. Never had a problem. I cannot stand pampers or luvs! Had so many problems with them leaking.
Im a first time mom. We are going to use fabric diapers. Just a lot cheaper.
With my first child we used pampers. They worked well so I'm planning on sticking with them. However, I've heard they "reformulated" them but I'll give them a try :)
I am going on baby #3 and have found that Pampers Swaddlers are my absoulte favorite! I've never haf problems with leaking and the wet indicator line is great for knowing if you need to do midnight changes or nap changes.
I'm going with pampers but the ones that are fragrance free and for sensitive skin. I remember when I was little I had a lot of diaper rashs and I have very sensitive skin too which doesn't help either. I'm a ftm too.
I use cloth - gDiapers. My son is finally potty training now but I haven't had to buy a single diaper in over a year and will never need to buy any for my next baby. I do a couple extra loads of laundry a week, that's the only tradeoff, which is well worth it to me considering the thousands of dollars we've saved by washing diapers instead of using disposables.
