hi, When do you start leaking fluid from your nipples during pregnancy?

with my first I started somewhere around week 25-30.  With my next pregnancies it's usually been early on, like after week 6 or 8.

I started at 27 weeks. I know of some who don't leak at all. It all depends.

I'm 33 and nothing yet. Hopefully it's like 30something13 says and this is an indication that I won't get into preterm labor!

I started leaking with my first at about 5 months quite a bit of leaking, i ended up having my baby early at 6 months (he was/is ok) then with my second i started contracting early and was put on bedrest and started leaking at 6 or 7 months, deliviered at 36 weeks. with my last one started contracting early was put on contraction suppressants and did'nt start leaking til about 7 or 8 months he was born full term. Good luck all women are different and it is usually normal, but let your doctor know and watch for any changes. Good luck

It all depends on the woman and how high their prolactin levels go.If you ahve pre term labor or lots of contractions you think are braxton hicks ot can come sooner. I had my milk in befoer birth with all my last 4 from pre term labor. It is not casue for concern though. It should also be pretty clear. The thick is colostrum is is vital to the baby. You do need to tell your OB just so they know and can watch for contractions. Early contractions cause this (3 letters??) hormone in your uterus and tells your placenta it is time to deliver. That casues prolactin to rise casue your body thinks you are going to deliver. But ther are many occasions where just plain braxton hicks or hormones raise the prolactin and nothing si wrong or casue for concern you just want them to know about it.

um since u are pregnant could u and ne one else who cmnts to thus post go to my post that says sumthing like " 18 yrs old, could this be pregnancy.......HELPPPP!! IM IN MUCH NEED OF ADVICE
