You can find calcium in different foods not just dairy.greens,oranges etc. Your doc can prob give you some alternatives to.
Every type of dairy product i eat makes me feel sick including yogurt and cheese. I do sometimes drink soy milk though. So i am hoping that will cover at least some of my dairy needs. Thank you for your suggestion about the pregnancy nutrition books. That's a good idea.
cheese is also another good source, check labels, most are lactose free.
how are you with yogurt? I'm sort of in the same boat, don't drink milk, makes my stomach hurt if I more than a small amount.
There are lots of other places you can get calcium from. I'd suggest checking out a book on pregnancy nutrition, it will help you figure out what other sources of calcium are and how to make sure you are eating a well balanced diet while pregnant.
You can try lactaid milk it has no lactose in it but you still get the milk you need.
