Hello ladies, I'm new to this and have just found out I'm pregnant. My question is are there any plus size ladies out there (19st) who are pregnant or have had kids and experienced any problems. I have lost 3st but got pregnant in the first month which I'm very happy about but worried cause of my size.

Thanks xx

Hey hun , I understand how you feel. Im 4'11 and weight 190lb when i got pregnant. I was scared for the baby health because of my weight, even my doctor told me i was only allow to gain 15 lb during my pregnancy because it will be very dangerous if i gain more then that.  Well it turns out my body decide to loose weight during this past 22w instead of gaining it. I'm not in a diet or nothing that just the way my body decide to take my pregnancy . I ask my doctor if it was oki for me to have loss weight and im already 5 month and half , she said i had nothing to worried about. So i'm hoping to keep loosing lol :) ....Best advice is don't stress it try to eat healthy but don't torture yourself about it and drink water lots and lots of water.

I also got pregnant losing weight, I know quite a few plus size women that have gotten pregnant and had no problems, of course do everything any other woman would do, don't lift anything strenuous. Walk, do what you can to exercise, (it can be harddd to force yourself to, I'm 17 weeks and still don't like to!) and eat healthy! The only concern MIGHT be blood pressure or gestational diabetes towards the 2nd and 3rd trimester, but as long as you're exercising and eating a healthy diet, you'll be fine, congratulations!!! :)

I have not had any problems but I was told to really watch what I eat and to keep walking! I 100% believe that walking helped me deliver my first son fast. You should talk to your doc about all your concerns. Good luck!

Your best bet is to go to your doctor and speak with a nutritionist that way you are giving your  baby everything you need I will pray for you
