Once you've given birth do you lose weight right their and then? I've heard many women say i lost 15,20 pounds the day i gave birth is this true?

Yeas u'll lose the weight of whatever was inside u

I pretty much lost the weight of the actual baby on the day and the rest came off later as my uterus shrank back and everything settled down. Don't expect your tummy to 'deflate' the day you give birth.

Yes all the blood, placenta, baby, fluid really add up. 4 days after birth I weighed myself and lost 25 lbs.

U lose the weight of the placenta, the amniotic fluid, some blood, the weight of the baby, and then u wait for the rest
