laxative... help

Okay so I've tried every safe thing i found on the internet plus the safe laxatives for pregnant girls. None of it did anything. I haven't gone in almost a week and a half.. I know i have to go but my body says otherwise.. So i took a small little cup like the ones for pepto full of the clear laxative stuff that works basically instant.. Please tell me it won't hurt her

I think my little girl is hanging onto my intestines for entertainment! Try an 8 oz. glass of very warm prune juice at bedtime,  drink 3-4 quarts of water daily, exercise daily (I walk 2 miles.) , eat lots of fruits and veggies ( especially watermelon...yum!). Make yourself a batch of high fiber muffins using All Bran. (Their recipe should be on the box.) You could use an enema now and then. Sometimes it seems like nothing helps and you need to swallow a stick of dynamite.  (I don't recommend that.) May we all be regular SOON!  ; )

Even the bottle isn't working. Im only taking alittle a time so it won't hurt her i just want enough to go..

Watch your iron intake. That could make it worse. I was stopped up for 10 days and the only thing that gave me relief was an enema or 2 and the clear laxative in the glass bottle. I pooped for days then lol sorry tmi

I had a similar issue and the problem was actually my prenatal, so I talked to my doctor and she had me get on a different one and it solved the constipation dilemma I had. Hope that helps :)

Prune juice! You might have to hold your nose but you'll be pooping shortly after.

My Dr.  said i could take miralax fpr constilation. Idk what the internet says but there is a reason why they tell you to only use certain medications. Obviously if your past your first trimester everything should be okay but i would ask & tell your dr. about your constipation & what you took for it.
