If they sent you home just try walking for a bit it might help it along. Or just try to relax. It could be awhile. For first time labor is 12 plus hrs on average. Maybe try to sleep your going to need the energy. Good luck and i hope everything goes well!

I wasnt leaking but contractions are six to eight minutes apart, but they wont admit unless they are three to five. So now i gotta walk and make things move.
My boys were moving a lot when I would have contractions.
Im trying, i just cant sit in one position for long before my hips hurt. & they have a girl rushed in for bleeding by aid car so they are busy.
They must be busy than. The woman that did mine said it takes 5-10 minutes to get a result. Try to relax though.
They did the swab at least a half hour ago so idk. Im still monitored and what not. Just a waiting game now.
That swab test is quick, so they won't keep you much longer if it hasn't broken. If they reccomend visterall (I know that's spelled wrong but sound it out lol) just know it'll make you really sleepy and your baby too. Good luck and keep us updated!
Im at the hospital now, i can see the contractions on the monitor but bubs is moving with each contraction which holy crap makes them hurt. Just waiting on the swab to see if my water is leaking and then they'll check, they just got an emergency transfer so they're busy.
Depends on your baby. My daughter wouldn't move during contractions, and my son doesn't stop moving at all. You should go get checked, just in case you are in labor. Good luck!
If i remember rifhtly mine were 4 minutes apart, lasting a minute and had been the same for an hour before we made a move to the hospital.
Oh and was your baby really active during and after contractions? My boy hasnt quit moving.
