less movement?

I'm 30 weeks today and I've had a pretty bad cold for a few days. Before the cold my little boy was doing somersaults in my belly every hour, but now all I really feel are his hiccups and a few rolls and kicks. Is this cold affecting him too or is it the cough medicine and cough drops? I've been taking tussin DM, 2tsp every 4 hours.

:) I will definitely go see my doc Monday if things don't change. I just worry myself too much

We don't have tussin here but I had a quick look online and it says it's safe during pregnancy. Babies movements start to slow down around 30 weeks because there is a lot less room. My little girl I can still feel rolling and moving but the kicking has slowed down as they coordination is getting better now too. If you are worried go see your doctor. it will help ease your mind
