My baby girl is about two weeks old. Her but is so raw looking and I dontknow what to do. :( I change her diaper as soon as its soiled and I've been putting a and d ointment on the area with baby powder it doesn't seem to be working. And she's been having liquid poop. Someone help?! :( I can't stand seeing her like this

Triple paste. It's a little more expensive but it works great. My little guy had a rash so bad that his poor bottom stated to bleed. I took him to the pediatrician and they gave me a sample tube of triple paste and it worked great.

My husband works in the heat and gets what he refers to as swamp butt. We tried the corn starch powders it didn't work and I suggested the triple paste. By the end of the day he no longer complained or walked like a cowboy.

I would switch diaper brands, my niece had rash and we switched diapers and she hasn't had rash since.

When my neice was born we just let her go commando with no diaper and let it air out.. when she would go to sleep in the bassinet we would put cream and a diaper on her but it cleared up quickly after we did that.. she might pee or poop but just keep a towel under her when you take her diaper off

It could be the brand of diapers, try switching kinds. If your using scented wipes that could cause it too, try using the unscented hypoallergenic ones. And i wouldn't use the a&d with baby powder. When you mix the 2, it turns into almost like a glue and is very hard to get off. I always used a zinc oxide cream such as destin. If it doesn't get better in a couple days id take her in, especially if her poop is liquidy because babies can get dehydrated very quickly and its always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to a newborn. Good luck and hope your lil one starts feeling better.

No use corn starch... It will take it away over night. I have 3 kids and 1 on the way. It works every time and its gentle on there bum. Keep it in the freezer tho bc the coolness takes the burn and heat out of het rash
