lobster & shrimp

Is lobster or shrimp bad while in your first term I'm 4 weeks???? And I ate both

Fish is fine and recommended in your diet when pregnant. As long as your not eating a ton then it won't hurt!

You can have fish there are just certain kinds you cant have. Bottom feeders like shrimp crab lobster and catfish should be consumed in small amount

my wife is about 7 weeks pregnant she keeps hassling me on eating lobster and scallops I am wondering if it is okay for her to have a lobster and scallop dinner just once from what I know you can't have fish at all

You can eat I believe 6 ozs a week of shrimp. They say to avoid shellfish because of the mercury content but I doubt it will do much harm in small amounts. Heck those curly lughtbulb things have a toxic amount of mercury in them and they don't say anything about not having them in your house!
