more bowel movements than usual?

In the last couple days I have noticed I am having bowel movements up to 3 or 4 times a day for the last two days. It is sudden and surprising since I have felt somewhat constipated throughout pregnancy. I am 37 weeks today. Did this happen or is happening to anyone else?
