SERIOUS question.

I think I lost my mucus plug it looked like snot and it was gooey and kind of watery is that my mucus plug? I will be 35 weeks tomorrow I have been contracting for awhile now,i don't know if its braxton hicks or not and I was also dialted to 2cm a week ago so they kept me in labor and delivery. What does this mean???

Oh okay. Well That's great theres no concern of her coming early.  After that plug your water may or may not break... mines didn't... even after my doctor stripped my membranes but that did help me dilate. Well good luck to you. I wish you the best!!!

Yeah it looked like snot. Yesterday it was only a little bit but today was a lot. at my appt today they seenthat I was still contracting but they weren't strong contractions. My doctor said I could go into labor any day now and thatmy daughter would be okay because I already got two steroid shots to develop her lungs just in case she were to come early

Losing of the mucus plug is a sign of labor. It is very slimy and gooey much like snot. Sometimes yellow or clear in color. It can come out all at once or gradually. Labor may happen afterwards or weeks from losing the plug. I would info the ob since you are already starting to dilate. Actual contractions will become stronger within time and come frequently. I would let the doctor know any concerns you may have so you can be assured that everything is fine.

Thank u! Im going to call tomorrow morning and let them no and see if they tell me to head down to check to see if im dilated and stuff

I would call your doctor, that could mean your waters trying to brake I'm a ftm also so I don't know much but I would call your doctor just to get some answers

Im 33 weeks and 4 days and i lost my mucus plug 4 days ago at least i think thats what it was..im a ftm so i dont know. But since i lost it i feel alit of pressure lower below my belly and here and there i get stomach pain. I dont know whether to call my doctor or not :/ i dont wanna look stupid...i dont want to go and have them tell me that what i seen wasnt my plug...and now i have discharge and its kind of watery now instead of thick..
