Go purchase a bottle of vitamin E gel capsules.  Break them open and apply the gel to the skin. Works like a charm!

Use bio oil , or mama mio lotion drink lots of water to keep your body hydrated, and exercise. Do not scratch bc that is what makes them just rub your skin if you get itchy I'm 20 weeks and have none just previous ones from loosing and gaining weight but with bio oil they have gotten lighter.

Cocoa butter didn't work for me I switched to bio oil and it worked wonders. It helps lighten them. I use it twice a day every day. You wont be able to prevent every single stretch mark so don't expect a miracle or anything! But I swear by bio oil, without it I think I would have been worse off because my belly got HUGE and I only have a few marks here and there.

I'm 19 & 23wks & started getting stretch marks on my butt cheeks & may get them on my sides later on, I heard they were genetic too but I'm not quite sure that's completely true cause my mom & aunts said they didn't have any. I put coco butter on for now too but I think it just helps lighten then for after birth or something like that. Other moms use different things they say works too so hopefully you get different responses.

Stretch marks are genetic. There's really nothing you can do if you get them. Just don't tan, I've seen that they make them much worse after if you already have them.
